CTV Morning Live Segments (CTV Winnipeg)

Good morning Manitoba! When I was hired by CTV Winnipeg in May 2022, I was brought on as the traffic reporter and video journalist for the station as a part of the CTV Morning Live news team. Each weekday morning from 6:00-9:00 a.m. I would deliver live updates on the road as the traffic reporter bringing up to date information on road conditions, closures, construction, incidents and breaking news for the morning show from Winnipeg. In addition to covering traffic, I would record pre-taped segments for the morning show and fill in as our live on location reporter. During my interview segments, I get a chance to have conversations with business owners, people of interest and timely events happening across the city and province. Since I’ve joined the station I will assist as a cameraman gathering footage for the daily news cycle on an often basis and have filled in as a shooter for the morning show were needed. Below are a collection of interviews and fun memories I have been a part of during my time with CTV Morning Live in Winnipeg.

Here is an interview I recorded live with organizers from Winnipeg Jets Fan Fest in September 2022. A street hockey tournament was setup for fans and it made for a fun live segment.

Here is my interview with Winnipeg Jets alumni Jordy Douglas from October 2022, sharing his thoughts on the life and legacy of his former NHL teammate Dale Hawerchuk and the new statue that was made in his honour at True North Square.
